2008 Italian Open Masters Calendar announced
Dates for Europe’s unofficial second championship have been announced. Three of the rounds are on the same dates as the WSK rounds announced earlier this week.
They are:
- 30th March
- 20th April
- 11th May
- 8th June
- 20th July
No tracks yet though and there are a few changes:
- The maximum number of drivers admitted to the KF2 and KF3 classes will be 85, and for KZ2 and KF1 it will be 51
- The structure of the Championship has been changed in free practices (which will commence on the Thursday from 01pm), non-Qualifying Practice, Qualifying Practice, Qualifying Heats, Pre-Final and Final
- The duration of the warm-up has been increased to 15 minutes.
- In addition to the classifications for drivers, it’s also planned to have the following:
- Constructors’ Trophy
- Teams’ Trophy
- Rookies’ Trophy (only for KF3)
- Women’s Trophy
- Independents’ Trophy
It has been added to the Kartlink Calendar.
