Kartlink covers international kart racing and is the only British website to regularly be in the paddock at most of the World and European meetings.
At last weekends prestigious British kart GP (Kartmasters) it was the turn of Msports Number one female driver to be the talk of the paddock finishing fourth place just one place shy of the podium. The race that had originally been scheduled for 15 laps, but due to bad weather was cut short to just 10 laps would have seen the Zanardi mounted Alice (lapping up to 0.7 secs faster than the leaders) pushing hard at the end for top spot.
Alice commented “We held our best equipment for the finals and it really helped me to get on terms with the leaders in the closing laps” Only a small mistake on lap 9 stopped her from catching the 3 seasoned racers at the head of the field.
Msport’s team principal Keiran Crawley commented ”Alice is one of the best female drivers to emerge in British karting for some years and this result shows the progress she is making, we are all proud of her and her achievement here at Msport!”
