The Motor Sports Association has issued a clarification regarding CIK International licences.
CIK International licence regulations allow competitors to upgrade to an International A or International B licence from the age of 15. The International B licence may also be issued to a driver under 15 years old, subject to them reaching their 15th birthday during the first half of the year in which the licence is issued and to compete in CIK KF2 Senior Class.
The Motor Sports Association has clarified that, from 1 January 2008, holders of a Kart International A or International B competition licence will be permitted to compete in the KF2 Class within MSA events. The Kart Race Yearbook will be amended accordingly for the 2009 season.
