Kartlink covers international kart racing and is the only British website to regularly be in the paddock at most of the World and European meetings.
KartSportNews is reporting on a new initiative in Australia where the organisers are aiming to get drivers trying out CIK racing for a total cost of around $9000 (about £4000) for the five-race series. The figure excludes travel and accomodation, and I assume chassis as well. Parilla Reedster engines cost $3000 to lease for the season, and maintenance is included but not repairs.
Is this something other countries should emulate?
