Kartlink covers international kart racing and is the only British website to regularly be in the paddock at most of the World and European meetings.
Three lucky and deserving winners from the British Racing Drivers Club (BRDC) Stars of Tomorrow series in England will travel to North America to compete in the Snap-on Stars of Karting National Finals. With the event taking place on a 16 corner temporary course on the grounds of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Stars of Karting and BRDC drivers will look to battle hard for the victory in the Cadet division.
In an exchange program that saw Gresham Wagner, Logan Bearden and Luis Tyrrell earn trips to England for competition, now BRDC‘s top drivers James Armitage, Charlie Robertson and Brett Wykes will travel to Sin City with high hopes.
“This is a great program for our young drivers and the drivers from the BRDC series,” expressed Stars of Karting President Paul Zalud. “For most of these kids this is a chance of a lifetime and something that they will hold onto forever. I am sure that our kids as well as the BRDC drivers will have some great stories to tell their fellow racers back home.”
This program would not be possible if it wasn’t for the help and support from Stars of Karting race teams and sponsors. Special thanks must go out to engine builders Swedetech, Pitts Performance and Hi Rev Engineering as well as team and chassis suppliers Champion Racing and Intrepid, Kartel Motorsports and Top Kart as well as Franklin Motorsports and Merlin. James Armitage will be aboard a Swedetech Comer powered Top Kart chassis under the Kartel Motorsports tent while Charlie Robertson will pilot a Pitts Performance powered Intrepid from Champion Racing. The young and talented Brett Wykes will be aboard a Hi Rev powered Merlin chassis under Jamie Sieracki’s Franklin Motorsports tent.
The support does not stop there as the Snap-on Stars of Karting Series will cover the race entry costs for all three drivers while Bridgestone and Grand Products will cover the costs for all race tires.
