Hawksworth denied victory by jumped start

Jack led the KZ2 field home by several seconds, but was placed seventh after he was given a ten second penalty for a jumped start. He says he thought the delay on the lights was longer than it actually was so went too soon, and knew he was going to get the penalty. Tony Lavanant (FR, Energy/TM) won after holding off Joffrey Demanse (FR, PCR/TM) for half the race.
