Italian Federation meets with Tonykart, Birel and CRG

The FIK held a meeting on 18th July (the WSK weekend) at Sarno between President Giuseppe Nole, advisers Sergio Lo Sardo and Orazio Manni, and representatives of Roberto Robazzi (Tonykart), Giancarlo Tinini (CRG) and Ronni Sala (Birel).

The two-hour meeting included discussion regarding new initiatives for karting in Italy and what the FIK is already doing with the championships and to promote the sport in general. The manufacturers were appreciative and have offered their cooperation and technical support.

There was particular consensus over President Nole’s proposals to bring karting to the general population and also the worlds of sports, advertising and entertainment. At the end of the meeting the FIK representatives announced that this cooperation would be formalised and enlarged to include other aspects of the karting economy.
