Q8 Oils and Accident Exchange to support James Appleton

James Appleton is delighted to announce that he has agreed long-term partnership agreements with Q8 Oils and Accident Exchange, the UK’s leading accident management company.

Already this season, James has established himself as one of Britain’s leading up-and-coming youngsters in the sport of karting. In 2008 he is racing with the highly successful NJR team in the Mini Max class competing in the British Super 1 and Stars of Tomorrow Championship.

In 2007, James raced in the Cadet class taking several podium finishes in the Stars and Super 1 series – finishing the season 5th and 6th respectively in the Championships. He also won the prestigious Gold Cup and a round of the highly competitive Motors TV Championship – and as one of the country’s leading Cadet drivers, he was invited to participate in the Vodafone Kart Challenge, featuring Lewis Hamilton.

As James progresses through the karting ranks, Q8 and Accident Exchange will provide him with financial backing and marketing support as he bids to fulfill his ultimate ambition - to become a Formula One driver.

Q8 Oils and Accident Exchange have been monitoring the Cheshire youngster’s progress for some time, and after he recently took two superb wins in the Stars of Tomorrow series to lead the Championship, they decided that the time was right to commit to supporting him.

James said, “I am really pleased to have support from Q8 Oils and Accident Exchange. Both companies support motorsport and it’s terrific that they are getting involved with me at this stage of my career.”

James’ father Mark added, “It’s very exciting that they are committed to helping James’ racing career develop. We believe this is the beginning of a long and beneficial partnership which will give Q8 Oils and Accident Exchange real value, and also satisfaction in knowing that they are helping to support a talented British youngster.”

James’ first race in Q8 Oils’ and Accident Exchange’s colours will be this weekend (7 / 8 June) at Whilton Mill in Northamptonshire, where he will be attempting to make it three wins out of three races, in the Stars of Tomorrow Championship.
