WSK Saturday at La Conca

Jonathan Thonon took a masterful pole position in the new Superpole (one flying lap) but in the first heat he was joined at the front by Marco Ardigo and Gary Catt, where he had to settle for third after a long battle. The other KF1 heat so far was won by Will Stevens who also didn’t get an easy ride.

Incidentally, Thonon hasn’t broken his leg at all - they said he had after the Winter Cup but he got a second opinion when he got home to Belgium and it’s fine.

Anniello Smarazzo looks to be the class of KF2 at the moment with two wins, but Giacomo Patrono, Petri Suvanto and Karol Basz are consistently at the front. Robert Foster-Jones only just missed out on a win when he and Petri Suvanto crossed the line milimeters apart, and Luke Wright has been going well, coming home third in one heat but unfortunately he finished near the back of another one when he got caught up in a crash at the start.

Nick De Vries looks like the one to watch in KF3, along with Nicolaj Moller Madsen, both have won two heats and Winter Cup winner Ignazio D’Agosto has won another.
