OTK to supply karts for CIK-FIA Academy Trophy
Earlier in the week it was announced that OTK will supply the karts and engines for the CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy for the next three years, and now more details have emerged.
Drivers will use the Exprit Noesis model, and the Vortex DDJ OK-Junior spec engine, and as previously announced, the winner after the three rounds will win a free drive in the OK Junior World Championship in Bahrain.
To race in the Academy Trophy, drivers must be selected by their governing body, and there’s usually one or two drivers from up to 50 countries.
The three rounds will be:
- 24th April – Essay, France
- 26th June – Portimao, Portugal
- 4th September – Kristianstad, Sweden
