The event takes place at its traditional Kimbolton track, the home of Hunts Kart Racing Club, from August 12th-14th with testing on the Friday and then official practice, timed qualifying, heats and pre and grand finals on Saturday and Sunday.
The event will once again be recorded for Motors TV and as usual is expected to attract top flight TKM drivers along with novices to take part in the longest running single make event in UK karting with a history stretching back almost 20 years.
The much loved event will once again give drivers the chance to race for Festival trophies as well as the prestigious ABkC TKM ‘O’ plates, following on from the success of the format last year. The timetable of races is specially designed to allow drivers to race in both Festival and ‘O’ plate with the same kart – though using different tyres. Or they can compete using a separate kart for each section.
