I’m not well (hence I’m impatient) and I might regret this, but I am going to try posting less press releases on this site and more original content. However, I do think they are informative and interesting (usually…) as background information so I’m going to put them on my Posterous site which I’m just about to link up in the sidebar here.

If you want your press release displayed on the main Kartlink site, you have three options.

1. Send me something earth-shatteringly interesting (I will be the judge of that). I might post the release verbatim, otherwise I will write it up myself and use your quotes and links.
2. Send £20 per release to my PayPal, using the email address maryann@kartlink.com. I’m serious here. If you do this I will post your news as a Sponsored Post and will include all of the photos, links, phone numbers, logos, sponsorship pleas, bikini-clad women and fluffy kittens that you can gather.
3. I will use official championship race reports/press releases as the basis for posts about races that I didn’t get to go to, and if there is useful information from driver and team press releases I will include that in the race reports as well.

Please keep sending me press releases, I do read every one, but I think it’s better for drivers and the sport as a whole if I post what I consider to be quality content based on my professional experience and knowledge, which people tell me is actually quite extensive…
