European Championship SKF, KF1 and KZ2 entry lists out

April 1, 2009

After the bombshell that only 24 drivers had entered the European SKF and KF1 Championships a few weeks ago, the final entry list has been released and has increased by ten entries. The 24 drivers include the best from the satellite teams, but the only factories to enter have been PDB/Gillard and Maddox, Comer/Topkart, PCR and Chiesa/Zanardi.

There’s no Tonykart, CRG, Maranello, Birel or Intrepid but some of their regular drivers have entered privately, including Maranello’s Aaro Vainio at Redstep. However, the best of the satellite teams have kept the faith with the CIK, including Ricky Flynn, MGM, EGP and Keijzer.

As expected, there are very few KF1s – Rick Dreezen (CRG Holland), Benjamin Mardin (private Kosmic) and Luis Villalba (KC Vendrell on an Exprit).

KZ2 is looking very healthy though.
