Vroom has an unofficial report from the third manufacturers meeting regarding reforms to KF.
Apparently what is on the table is:
- 16000rpm (presumably lower for juniors)
- Dellorto-type carb
- Standard power valve for everyone
- Rotax-type clutch
Vroom raises the concerns that obstacles to racing at the national level haven’t been taken to account, and that nothing has been planned to reduce the equipment costs.
Dan Carter, a CIK-FIA technical delegate, says that nothing is decided yet but next week the final proposals will be put to the CIK and then if approved they will be ratified by the FIA, so we should know something for definite around the time of the PFi European race.
