Kartlink uses press releases as reference sources for articles, but we will only publish them verbatim if they are:
- Newsworthy – relating to a driver who has won an event we cover, such as the WSK or MSA Super One, or any sort of major development in the sport.
- In an appropriate style – factual rather than promotional.
- Or if you are prepared to pay £20/€20 for it.
I receive a large amount of press releases, and if I publish them all I end up covering no original news. They are (usually!) worth a look though so I forward the emails straight to my Posterous site, and they are linked to from the front page of Kartlink.
