Nella serata del 18 luglio u.s., negli uffici del Circuito Internazionale Napoli di Sarno (che nell'occasione ospitava una gara della serie WSK), si è tenuto un'incontro di alto livello tra il Presidente della FIK, avv. Giuseppe Nolè, accompagnato dai consiglieri Lo Sardo e Manni ed i rappresentanti della TONY KART, CRG e BIREL signori Robazzi, Tinini e Sala.

The [FIK] held a meeting on 18th July (the WSK weekend) at Sarno between President Giuseppe Nole, advisers Sergio Lo Sardo and Orazio Manni, and representatives of Roberto Robazzi (Tonykart), Giancarlo Tinini (CRG) and Ronni Sala (Birel).

Alessandro Manetti has dominated KZ2 throughout Saturday and Sunday morning, followed by his team mates Thonon and Kozlinski, while there were some big names in the repechage.

July 2, 2008 Thonon conquers Europe

In his homeland, in Belgium, on the Mariembourg circuit, Jonathan Thonon conquered a title that means a lot to him: that of European KZ1 Champion. At the wheel of his CRG-Maxter, the Belgian pilot showed all his talent and dominated the race from the beginning to the very end, proving once again to be the fastest, just like in all the competitions he entered into.

May 8, 2008 Thonon’s stellar success

An all-smiling Jonathan Thonon was on the podium twice at Angerville, where the first round of the European KZ1 Championship (the top category for 125cc gearbox karts) was held. For the Belgian pilot and CRG-Maxter Team, which he officially represents, it was important to start this new season with a victory and a good overall result.

December 16, 2007 Top teams abandon Open Masters in favour of WSK

As noted in previous posts [Tonykart], [Birel] and now [CRG] will compete in the [WSK] International Series next year, and with several date clashes that means that the [FIK]'s Italian/International Open Masters will be depleted of several of it's major players.
