The results at Macau are in and Marco can add the Asia-Pacific Championship to his credit. Second place went to the new [Tonykart] recruit [Matias Laine] who also had the fastest lap in the race.

Marco Ardigo has won his fifth championship of the year (on three different continents) with a win by three seconds over Gary Carlton in SuperPro (KZ1) yesterday at the SKUSA SuperNationals XI.


November 13, 2007 Ardigo to race at SKUSA SuperNationals

Tonykart's Marco Ardigo will race in the SKUSA SuperNationals in Las Vegas this weekend, the first time the reigning World Champion has competed in the USA's biggest one-off race. He will race in Super Pro, which is based on KZ1, and his team mates will be Tonykart USA's Wesley Boswell and Danilo Dirani.


September 26, 2007 Italian KZ2 title confirmed for unstoppable Ardigo

World Champion Marco Ardigo has just been confirmed as the 2007 Open Masters KZ2 champion . The delay since the last round in July has been due to queries over mechanical assistance received - I don't know all the details but I will update when I see an English translation. Ardigo finished up 15 points ahead of Monza's Manuel Cozzaglio.

Marco Ardigo (Tony/Vortex) got away from the field from pole and won by 1.368s. Gary Catt (Tony/Vortex) was catching Ardigo for first ten laps. Nikolaj Bollingtoft (Kosmic/Vortex) Anthony Abbasse (Sodi/Parilla) started 29th after going out early on in the Prefinal, therefore had some decent tyres.
