Hessle (E Yorkshire) kart racer Michael Simpson notched up his sixth successive race victory in the Renault-sponsored KF2 Super One karting championship at Larkhall, Lanarkshire on 17th August.

February 23, 2008 Simpson re-signs for Birel

Michael Simpson has re-signed for Birel Motorsport for the 2008 season. “We always intended to and we have now exercised our option to re sign Michael – it was a case of just deciding which programme he should do” commented Birel UK boss Andy Cox.
