Podium_KF2_L.jpgAs a support class to the KF1 World Championship held in Murro Leccese, was the KF2 World Cup, the class for aspiring young hopefuls. All the signs pointed to the favourite Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart-Vortex). Third in the World Cup last year and European Champion this year, this young 16 year old Italian had all the odds in his favour.

October 13, 2007 UPDATED: First blood to Harvey at Monaco Cup but Rowland takes pole

The KF3 Juniors have just finished their two series of non-qualifying practice. The British made their presence felt with Oliver Rowland (Topkart/Comer) dominating the first series, then European Champion Jack Harvey (Maranello/XTR) went faster in the second series with 49.726 ahead of Jordan Lennox-Lamb (Topkart/Comer). All others were over 50 seconds a lap. The German driver Florian Faas (Zanardi/XTR) was 4th, followed by another British driver, Jiri Forman (Topkart/Comer), then Portugal's David Rambeau (Zanardi/XTR) ...

In Formula A Chris Rogers took the title with a mesmerising comeback drive through the field to win Clay Pigeon’s second final to add to his earlier victory in the first.
