La segunda prueba del DKM, el campeonato alemán de karting, tuvo lugar en la pista de Wackersdorf, población situada en el sureste del país germano, entre Regensburg y la frontera de la República Checa, no muy lejos de Nurenberg. Disputado íntegramente sobre piso seco, este evento contó con la presencia de 162 pilotos, repartidos en las cuatro categorías admitidas.

With everything set to be a fantastic weekend’s racing at the second round of the Rotax Euro Challenge hosted by the ProKart Raceland circuit in Wackersdorf, Germany, the ideal conditions and facilities were overshadowed somewhat by those slightly over-eager competitors who tried to win the race in the first two corners.
