The WSK International Series will finish this weekend at its 6th round of the 2008 season. The location is the International Circuit of Zuera, near Zaragoza, in Spain. The opening of this amazing track was last year, with a race of the last WSK Series. Next Sunday the 17 Km of Zuera’s circuit will decide the champions of KF2 and KF3, after Sauro Cesetti (Birel-TM-Bridgestone) in KF1 and Marco Ardigò (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) in KZ2 already ...

Alhough he is only at his first season in KF3, [Nyck De Vries] continues to score a series of excellent performances against pilots who are elder and especially more experienced than he is. July 25, 2008 Spirit recharges for the European Championships

The fifth round of the WSK International Series at Sarno saw Gianluca Beggio’s team, Spirit, lining up fewer drivers than usual. A technical decision taken by the multiple champion, who with the more important events of the season drawing nearer (European KZ2 and the KZ1 World Cup to be held in Varennes (F) on 4/7th September) decided to leave his top two gearbox drivers, Gianluca Cane and Danny Bleek, at home this time.


July 25, 2008 Thompson to test Formula Renault

Top Irish karter Gary Thompson is heading to China shortly for a Formula Renault test ahead of a proposed full time move to cars in 2009. Thompson is ready to call time on his karting career after injury and illness wrecked his first full season in international KF2.

July 21, 2008 Thorp’s Sarno win puts him in title hunt

Spectacular results at Sarno (Italy) are becoming a habit for British KF2 racer [James Thorp] after his near perfect weekend ended in victory yesterday (Sunday 20th July). On his first return to the circuit where he went from last to third in the 2007 European Championship, James moved into third place in the WSK International Series by going fastest in qualifying, winning two heats and both of the finals.


July 20, 2008 Ardigo seizes Sarno KZ2 win

Despite Alessandro Manetti's (IT, CRG/Maxter) monopoly on the heats and Prefinal, champion-elect Marco Ardigo (IT, Tonykart/Vortex) unseated him on the first lap of the final and successfully fended off Jonathan Thonon (BE, CRG/Maxter).
