Alhough he is only at his first season in KF3, [Nyck De Vries] continues to score a series of excellent performances against pilots who are elder and especially more experienced than he is. [Brandon Maisano] (FR, Intrepid/TM) has taken another win, this time in the WSK at Sarno, after strong opposition from the unknown Russian Sergei Sirotkin (Tonykart/Vortex) in the Prefinal. In the Final Maisano was able to pull out a lead of five seconds.
[James Thorp] (GB, Maranello/Maxter) was the dominant force of the weekend in KF2, faultless apart from an engine problem in a heat. He came through from mid-grid in the Prefinal to lead by lap eight and in the final he was half a second a lap faster than the rest of the field.
Alessandro Manetti has dominated KZ2 throughout Saturday and Sunday morning, followed by his team mates Thonon and Kozlinski, while there were some big names in the repechage.
